How is Haven different than a normal pole/dance studio?

Unlike a typical pole or dance studio, Haven does not offer regularly scheduled classes. You simply rent out time by the hour to use the space at your own desire. If you’re an instructor who teaches classes or privates, this means a lot more money in your pocket, a customized schedule and greater creative freedom.

Our rental model also means we operate on a strict pay-to-use system. You pay for any time you’re physically in the space, whether you’re dancing, stretching, or just chilling and waiting for friends; it’s that simple! You can always book additional time during your session if there’s availability.

How do I book time?

All pole reservations must be made online or via the Mindbody app. You can book as many hours as you’d like (during studio hours of 7am to 10pm), but they must be booked one at a time. Minimum rental is one hour; 30 minute increments are not available.

Please refer to the rate breakdown on our Pricing Page. You must book the appropriate rental type to avoid fees:

  • Private Rentals include you & up to 2 guests (3 people max)

  • Groups Rentals include you & up to 7 guests (8 people max)

  • Photography Rentals are required if you plan on using anything other than a cell phone to capture content

What’s your cancellation policy?

Pole rentals can be cancelled or rescheduled without penalty 24 hours prior to the reservation. Mindbody will let you know if a booking is considered a ‘Late Cancel’. Early cancellations will be credited back to your Mindbody account and will be immediately available for you to reschedule. Any late cancellations will be forfeited, including those paid for by package credits. Please note that if you need to reschedule, you will still need to cancel your original appointment at least 24 hours in advance to avoid losing that credit.

I’m trying to book time, but the website won’t let me. What gives?

For those not using the Mindbody app, our online schedule shows daily availability in half hour increments. This allows guests more flexibility in choosing when they want to start their appointment. However, since the minimum rental is one hour, the Mindbody website will not let you book a half hour slot, even though it ‘looks available’ (you will be shown an error message to reach out to the studio).

I got here 10 minutes before my start time and it doesn’t look like anyone is inside. Can I just go into the studio early?

No, Haven operates on a simple yet strict rental policy. Guests are only physically allowed within the studio during the exact time slot that they have booked.

For example, if you anticipate the need for personal time before or after teaching a class, please factor that into your reservation. As the renting instructor, you are also responsible for informing your students prior to class how to locate and enter the studio—details of which will be contained in your booking confirmation email.

I arrived 15 minutes late to my appointment. Can I just stay 15 minutes past my time slot to experience the full hour?

No, Haven is not responsible for late arrivals. As mentioned above, our studio operates on a simple yet strict rental policy. Guests are only physically allowed within the studio during the exact time slot that they have booked. You are reserving a specific hour (or more) on a specific day—not one that can be used at any time that’s convenient to you.

What if my sexy pleather leggings take forever to put back on after a sweaty jam session, and I accidentally exceed my rental time?

We understand life happens, but you are expected to prepare for your departure in a timely manner. In the event you exceed your reservation time, you will be charged for an additional hour or more. Our 24hr security system is designed to monitor these situations. We kindly ask that you respect Haven as a shared community space, and understand how running over your time is inconsiderate and unfair to your fellow dancer who has reserved the time right after you.

How do I play my own music in your studio?

Haven has two Sonos speakers that are already connected to the iPad provided, but they can also connect wirelessly to your phone. Your booking confirmation email will contain access codes as well as a Before You Visit link with specific instructions on how to play music (along with detailed instructions on finding the studio, parking, rules on using the space and lighting).


Do you provide yoga mats?

For polers, Haven provides towels and alcohol spray bottles to keep our poles clean and grippy. We also have a crash mat to help you train as safely as possible. You will, however, need to bring your own yoga mat if needed.


My kids are tired of having their birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s. Can we throw it at your space?

Haven is for adults only (18yrs +), including those who are young at heart!

What about my adorable doggo? Can my furry companion join me at the studio?

As much as we love our pets, Haven does not allow animals within the studio. Please email us about certified service animals.


Awesome! So I’ve reserved my pole time online and received my confirmation email. Now what?

Thoroughly review the Before You Visit link found within your confirmation email before you…that’s right, visit!

There is limited free parking in the alley directly in front of the building’s main entrance. Do not park within the adjacent gated lot, and be mindful of any ‘No Parking’ or posted tow signs. Haven is not responsible for clients’ vehicles.

Enter the 5-digit code found in your confirmation email to open the front door of the brick building. Once inside, take the stairs or elevator up to the 2nd floor, and find Suite 236. Enter the lockbox code (also found in your confirmation email) to access the physical key that opens the studio door.

At the end of your session, we ask that you put away any towels and spray bottles you may have used. Both windows should be shut and locked, and the lights and AC turned off. Please remember to place the key back into the lockbox before leaving. Clients who lose, misplace, or lock the key within the studio after exiting will be charged a $65 fee, NO exceptions. Tip: Place the key back into the lockbox at the start of your appointment once you’ve unlocked the door so that you don’t have to remember to do so afterwards.

Reminder: Your booking confirmation email will include a Before You Visit that details everything you need to know before visiting, including use of studio lighting and playing music.
